Does anyone on here own a well/septic system company in or near Person county? If so, I'd like to speak with you first about a new install, not too far outside of Roxboro.

Found my hunting land and just signed contract for the new property - will put up a dwelling there and will need the system. There are other houses in the area and I have not heard about any issues.

Otherwise, please let me know if there is someone you can recommend.
Thanks in advance,
This is a plate loaded machine that I'm selling with 4 45 lb plates and 4 35lb plates. I have it posted on Craigslist for $950. Its in very nice shape with one small tear in the back pad that you could cover with a quarter. It is a gym quaility piece of equipment that weighs at least 300 lbs.

Asplundh said they were phone lines and they would not cut. Now I have been told that if i cut the trees and pull down the phone lines i will get a bill. The phone company doesnt wanna do anything about it or even talk to me b/c im not a customer of theirs. What is the right thing to do? Or who has the responsibility of cutting them?

How many of you have put in a shallow water well? My father in law was down a few weeks ago from NY, and started talking about us putting one in. I pretty much told him that I wasn't digging down 20 ft with a post hole digger, but he said thats not how you do it.

So we get some 2" PVC and the water hose from the house. I'm sitting here thinking this crazy Yankee has lost his mind. Well we turn the water on, and wouldnt you know it, I pushed 10 ft straight into the ground in less than 10 minutes. Could not beleive it.

Still dont have enough water, so now it has become a obsession for me. Gonna try to put another 15-20 ft down this weekend and see what I come up with.

I have a old cistern pump that I am going to hook up to it at first and see how it goes, before I spend any money on a pump to water the grass.

Ok, I am planning to put in some plots that I have already prepared for seed. They were sprayed out with roundup, lime and fertilizer applied and then the ground was broken. My main two bow plots are going to be in partial shade areas that get less about 6 hours of sunlight. There was plenty of undergrowth in these areas so I think a shade blend would do fine, but beans aren't going to cut it. I will be hunting these plots full season, but I definitely want vegetation there during bow season in September.

#1 - What is the best shade blend to go in with this time of year? I would love to support BioPlots, as HRCARVER is an active and helpful member on this board.

#2 - Is there a good perennial shade blend that is full season or should I plan to overseed with a clover mix in the fall?

Thanks!
