My daughter will be running in the Boston Marathon next Monday. To run this marathon you have to qualify with a verified time in another marathon and the competition is tough. She received notification last fall of making it in so she is very excited to do this. After the marathon the city of Boston is hosting a huge party for the runners at Fenway Park which she and my son-in-law are attending. My son-in-law also runs marathons but he didn't qualify. She was telling me that they have an app for the phones so that he will be updated when she passes designated markers along the route.
