Hate to hear that. My apple and cherry trees are blooming pretty good. Hope some of them make it.

That's all we need in wnc is another year of poor mast production. The freeze could definitely impact acorn production again this year. Last year was horrible, hopefully the oaks will pull through.

it only got down to 34° in Gaston...light frost on the windshield this morning, plants should be fine if they were covered

It was 23 here this morning. I live at 3,000 feet and there's not much put out at this elevation on up. A couple of my apple trees had bloomed out some but not completely. There are areas around here that have not had an acorn for 3 years now.
