I love doing dove fields. Here is a millet field I helped rustvyper with and a sunflower field from a month ago.

those are very nice..he must have had rain where he lives to have growth like that...lots of feathers gonna fly in a couple of months around there.

Wow - the birds are going to be stacked up like cord wood around those fields... Just a few weeks away now...

Looks great. I am excited about putting a dove plot in here at the house next year. Couldn't get it done for this season, but hopefully next year.

When you plant sunflowers, is it better to plant alone or mix something else (millet, sorghum) in with it?

Usually not. Causes issues with weed control. I'd do them separate.

Do you have any more pics after cutting? Did you leave strips (disked, mowed, standing)?
