Love it!!! Ive yet to have any hummingbirds here, last summer they were all over but since the owners did some landscaping and removed alot of the flowering shrubs my feeders have been lonely.

Very nice shot. Only a few remain here now, I guess most of the swarm we had have been hit by the migration instinct.

Probably what I'm experiencing here.
First a single Female appeared buzzing around 2 days in a row.
I put that feeder back up in a hurry...and she found it.
In a day or so a Male and a second Female appeared for a couple days.
Then yesterday I only saw that lone Female.

Nice close-up. Our hummers are definitely on the move. We had 2 dozen plus around our feeders 2 weeks ago. Now I only see 4 - 6 at a time, and most of those are females.

Your photography is getting to the inspiring level roundball....

Our neighbors have some sort of secret potion I guess, their feeders are loaded! We have quite a few coming to ours but nothing like the numbers they have...

Sounds like the makings of some good little video clips.
Its a good hobby for sure...also let's me stay connected with nature & wildlife off season too.
