    There's nothing I've done that I wish I'd done less. But there's a few I wish I'd done more.

First ever Opening Day success after 15 years hunting! I missed all of archery season last year due to surgery so this one is sweet! Also, this is the biggest buck I've had the opportunity to shoot in NC.....

    150# 6 Point
30 yard hard quartering away shot.
Perfect entrance behind last rib with exit in opposite shoulder.
    Mathews Drenalin 70#
Carbon Express Mayhem arrows tipped with G5 Strykers
    Ran ~100 yards.

Second best track job I've ever done. Immediately following shot the rains came hard. Climbed down ASAP and found where the buck ran from the woods into a soybean field. followed very sparse blood due to the rain for about 40 yards then followed his tracks until he entered the woods. Found him about 15 yards in the woods. With the Nockturnal nocks, I knew the shot was spot on and he would not go very far.

    Franklin County
    Doe
16 yard shot, 100 yard recovery
The picture shows the exit wound from the Muzzy MX-3 100 grain.
2nd ever bow kill and 1st opening day kill (passed on a full velvet 8pt last year on opening day and regret it).
