    Uncles Deer, Caswell County, thought it was a doe. Shot at 4:30 PM this evening, screwed up looking five point. 40 yard shot, 70 yard recovery.

    Big-bodied 8 pointer from Rockingham Co. We've killed a crap load of does during archery season, but this is the first buck of the year. He walked out from a well-used trail smelling the ground and the air. Hit him broadside, low and forward, at about 75 yds with a cheap loaner ML. Dropped in his tracks and just kicked.
