Cracker Barrel high chair

Making the girls a high chair. Started with an oak chair and did some cutting and sanding. Got to hit the edges with a belt sander, add the legs, and linseed oil finish. Got some old leather off some tree gaffs I've been saving. I'm gonna cut the legs just long enough to slide the arms under the table and she'll be done. Don't remember exactly how they made theirs so I just pieced it together with what I had. Gonna buy some legs that have been turned on a lathe though.

Test fitting the legs. Need to shave another half inch off and put the cross braces in.

Ok. I'm almost done. Plugging a few screw holes should be it. One coat of the boiled linseed oil and it nearly matches the floor, table and existing chairs.

So I was going back and forth about putting plugs over the screws or putty. I decided just to pull the screws out and drill it out and put dowels in.
