Man what a diffrence a little shower made. We were working on the box stand yesterday evening and even had a small doe come out and feed in the plot for a while until she realized what was going on 150 yds from her.

I planted seed oats. price diffrence in seed oats and feed oats was crazy. I used a pull behind spreader with the ATV and used a cultipacker to smooth everything over. Worked out pretty good.

Update 10-20-14

Update: Got the shooting house ladder up last week, snapped these shots out the windows of the plots. Oats are getting kinda high, Wheat is coming up pretty good now, I probably should put some utilization cages up to see just how much is being hit. Oats are getting grazed hard on one end for sure, not so much on the lower end that I can tell. The rye down the middle is being hit the hardest, the entire lane is showing signs of browse, unless the rabbits are keeping it mowed Lol.
