I have seen it in Coweta County GA, Pell City Alabama and Lafayette Louisiana too. That cat has some territory!

I spotted a lion in central NC just today.

I know 3 people that swear up and down that they have seen black Mt Lions in Onslow County. Two of them seen it on the same road about 10 years apart. I called them crazy, but I guess anything is possible.

Edit: they called them black panthers, but I knew what that would lead too...

Never ever been a recorded species or phase of mountain lion that was black.....they don't exist.
