Definitely some Blue Healer in him!

The vet I use says her best guess is a Catahoula / Fox Hound mix, and that's what I go with. When he holds his head at a certain angle, I can see the possibility of terrier in him, too. He's definitely a Heinz-57 hound dog!

When someone asks about dogs we've had I always say "he's a special breed"!!:)

You can have his DNA tested and they can tell you. Cost about $75.
I did have this done. The results they came back with:
- American Eskimo dog
- Rhodesian Ridgeback
- American / English Coonhound.

Sorry, I just don't see it.

I have seen people that have had those done for craps and giggles from dogs that they have raised and had their ancestors for 6 generations. The results come back with ludicrous results. I dna all my dogs for breeding lineage just to identify parenthood. But they have a long way to go in breed analysis.
