Point is for about $100 bucks I can put out 500 lbs of fertlizer which takes 1/4 of a day. Most of these trees are all native that I flagged, crop tree released, spray roundup at the bases in the spring then fertlize. Much less expensive that corn or some magic mixture stump melt, lol.

It's working well for me thus when ur out in the woods keep some flagging with you for the following springs re-identification...

I have been looking at planting fruit trees but I finally decided that there was no way I could keep the bears from breaking out all the limbs when they started to drop fruit.

Here is a small clover plot I sprayed with Round-Up 3 weeks ago, applied 0-20-20 just a week ago, it's coming out good now.

This is the first time I've used Round-Up, I mixed it @ 2% and it really had little affect on the clover. I will use 1.5% next spring and give that a try.

that looks great...but "small" clover plot ? That looks like a huge clover plot, now maybe a small hay field :D

Thank you Eric. This one seems to have done the best, same application as above with the exception of drilling wheat & oats 50 Ft around the perimeter. Just now starting to come up.

I routinely have youth hunting about every weekend, thus I've gone to this type of stand with full steps & handrails. I wanted to share the trim behind the stair treads which keeps the deer from detecting your movement when climbing in while deer are feeding. This was done given we often slide in late for a 45 min hunt given some kids attention span.

Most helpful are having these curtains, each is carpeted, insulated has two inexpensive pump jack office chairs. The younger kids can get adjusted to the correct height, have most all of their normal noise concealed etc making for a good first experience and hopefully setting the hook.

Adding the below Google Range charts and posting in each stand is something of benefit as well. Keeping in mind, most guest do not know how to accurately range or own a range finder, helps make for an ethical take.

In today's I-Pad youth world anytime any of us can get kids outdoors we need to do so!!

Remember not to fertilize any trees with sucking pests, as it could doom them, otherwise it's a highly overlooked option! Great job!
