So In my CVA Accura I finally got a breech plug for blackhorn 209. I switched from pyrodex pellets and powerbelts to blackhorn 209 and hornady sst's. Took me 6 shots to realize how much of a difference it made. Never going back.

I shoot 100 grains by volume of BH, Barnes bullit and sabot in my Accura in 45 caliber. Shoots nice and is deadly.

I'm using 63 gr weighed (90 gr volume) of BH209. Weighing tends to give better groups.

Currently shooting 250 gr hornadays ssts with 150 gr pyrodex. Its the load that shoots best out of my gun.

90GrbV of bh209 under 250gr snackdown sst's.
Anything over 110ish grains of any powder is a waste of $ (unless you have one of those sweet 30"+ barrels).

I don't know what the best load is, but 90gr of Pyrodex RS behind a 250gr XTP seems accurate and sufficient.
