Well where did we go, The Roanoke for striper? The Neuse for Cats, Jordan for Bass?......nope we headed to a lake in Randolph County for some Bream. Lots of times(well actually most) it is just as fun or better to catch some bream. Bait/lures today would be bottom rigs consisting of a 1/2 oz bell sinker with 2 hooks above it aprox 8 inches apart. We hit 3 good spots and kept getting mostly small ones with just a few good ones. We finally made the last move and got onto some nice Bream. A good day on the water. too many to count but the Species caught were Bream, Shellcrackers and some Raccoon Perch. Also heard some turkeys clucking behind us.
