What happens at death?

Just some food for thought, consider this scenario.

Five men are traveling together in a van.

#1 believes very strongly that he will go to heaven when he dies.
#2 believes in reincarnation...that he will be physically transformed into something else upon death
#3 believes that when he dies he will be resurrected here on earth at some point after his death
#4 believes that nothing will happen after death...he will just be dead, no afterlife, reincarnation, or resurrection.
#5 was raised a catholic, but is not practicing currently. he has lived an immoral and violent life, and his priest had told him unless he changed his ways he would go to hell. He had decided to change his life as soon as he turns 50. he is 49 years and 364 days old.

All 5 men are killed in an accident. What happens to each of them? Each one strongly believes in his own fate. Does it make sense that God would send one to heaven, reincarnate one, leave one and then resurrect him later, leave one alone, and say close but no cigar to the fifth and send him to hell? Will they all receive different fates? Or does it make more sense that there is one reward for all man? Does it matter what we believe?

Some people do believe that all roads lead to God ...... and that all dogs go to Heaven.

Seriously though.
It absolutely matters what we believe in our hearts.
Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Did they buy a farm or just tell people they did?

Was this farm in Iowa?

Was this where they were heading?

Which one was the farmer, which one was the teacher, which one was the hooker and which was the preacher.... And what was the fifth guy?

II Corinthians 5:6-8
I Thessalonians 4:13-14

It's pretty clear what the answer is to this question if you believe the Bible, this isn't questionable.

Every living thing has a soul, but only man has malice. So all creatures go to heaven but most of us don't. So for those that make it, remember to bring the bug spray and since all dogs go to heaven there are probably a few fleas there too.

Nice to speculate, but man is the only creation that God breathed life(soul) into, the rest of living things he gave life to didn't get that thing that makes us special to God.
I'm not saying there won't be animals in heaven, but they won't be ours.

Being serious now ......

We humans are eternal spiritual beings - living an earthly existence - in a temporal body. One day we will have physical body that will be eternal.

I don’t see any evidence in the Bible to suggest that any other living thing has a soul, which is the individual identity part of us that makes up our mind, will and emotions. I do however, think there is a spirit element that "gives life" to all forms, but that is not the same thing as a soul.

Personally, I think there will be animals in the "new" creation, just like there is in this original one.
