Bass and Crappie

Need some advice on some fishing spot around Greenville. Have tried river park and tar river not much luck. Any ponds or secret spots?

Everyone around here used to go to the sand pits but they've got those pretty well locked down. Not a lot of good bank fishing to be had here. Best thing to do is buddy up with someone with a boat and buy them a tank of gas!

Check out the greenway. There's a few areas where you can get down to the banks and catch some fish... Finding good crappie areas from the banks my be difficult but minnow under a float might bring you some success..

Theres a pay to fish pond on wesley church road near farmville....never fished it myself and theres also a couple ponds stocked by the state up near tarboro on 64 that has a pier. Seen some nice bass and catfish caught in those but bank fishing is limited. Pretty much stuck to the piers
