Ive been chasing the drum bite on Portsmouth for some time now and haven't gotten in to them heavy yet, So I leave this Saturday for a week long trip, Im hoping the fishing is good since this will be the first time in 5 years that I have missed opening day. Anybody else going to be out there? Any tips?

That's ridiculous. No scientific data to support such large closures. The "bird and turtle folks" have an agenda, and it has nothing to do with saving wildlife.

Yep. The thing that is really hilarious is they will close the beach closest to the inlets (which usually floods at high tide) in the name of turtle/bird nesting?

HELLO, there is a reason why turtles and birds lay their eggs on the beach and it ain't so that their eggs stay covered in water .
