What I would do for a deer that size. I've seen two deer all year- bout 8 sits. Been out daybreak and sunset Nothing! I stared at a decoy a few weeks ago so long I started thinking it was moving and about took a shot. Hell I haven't even taken my safety off. Depressing!

Never had any luck with a deer decoy...

To the OP, if you're not managing your land for monster bucks, I see no problems with your buck. Every piece of deer meat I've ever eaten has tasted good!

It came off a piece of property I only hunt once a year, 3 hrs from home. I'll take a cooler home each trip.
