Adapting H&R Handi Rifle synthetic forend to huntsman muzzle loader

Twelve Pointer
This was way easier than I expected it would be. I had a wooden youth stock and factory wooden forend on this Huntsman (muzzleloader) when I got it. Now that my son is grown I picked up a synthetic, standard stock and forend on Graybeard Outdoors. I don't have a drill press so I had to be careful. I used a dremel to start my holes. I used 4 bits to work up to the hole size I needed. My longest bit was able to make it through both "cross-members". I used the dremel to clearance where necessary. The ramrod retainer had to be bent a little. The sling stud is moved closer in but it is still further out than the factory wooden forend stud is. I haven't decided if I will try to move it back to the original hole or not. There is not much room left there. I might consider melting some of the plastic that is left over from the drilling, to plug the factory sling hole to clean it up some.
