We're hosting my wife's side of the family this morning for brunch as well as our daughter's crew and it's always good to get family together but we have another guest coming that has me both excited and melancholy at the same time.
My oldest sister, the Matriarch of our family since our folks passed, will be driving up from Lumberton to spend some time with us. This might not sound like much to some, but is a rare event here and we're tickled to have her in our home. Maybe it will bring a sense of the Christmases we had when Mom was alive. I hope you can all have a joyous Christmas.
