For those of you wanting to get into processing your own deer meat Dicks has some pretty good deals on the equipment you'll need. I have a grinder, dehydrator, and a jerky gun and love doing it on my own!

It looks like your generic starter dehydrator. I think it would be fine. I have another brand that looks similar and works fine for jerky and fruit.

I highly suggest getting dehydrator with timer and adjustable temp settings. Got mine at Dunhams and a #12 Kitchener grinder and jerky gun. Have gotten many compliments on jerky and summer sausage. Doing it yourself is the best way!

I work at DSG... Don't care for the grinder, the dehydrator is ok at best, the jerky fun is good though.

The dehydrator is alright. Would recommend spending money on sometjing better tho
