grandson came to stay with me last night and today as his momma had to work out of town

we hadn't had a chance to shoot bows together much as they have moved "to the big city" and he isn't around me as much,,,,,and when he was the last couple of months the weather was cold and nasty ( that global weather thing I guess),,,,,,,

but today! windy yes, but we had fun,,,,,,took a break from work and we went and shot for an hour,,,,,,,,he hasn't forgotten much!!

had him try out an old Bear Ranger #4 I have (26 lb pull @ 28),,,,he loved it,,,,,,,,so guess I need to look for him a new bow as that ranger may not hold up,,,,,,,

Good on you woodmoose! Loads of fun shooting arrows with my kids. Hey, those old Bears are tougher than ya think. Take a cotton ball and wipe it down good. If you don't see any signs of delamination or obvious problems and you get no snags with the cotton ball you're probably good to go. If he's already shot it for an hour though I'd bet on the bow....
