A season of photos

Now that we don't have much to talk about I thought it would be fun to relive the season with your favorite pictures. I have a fair amount I will space out and share but feel free to add to the thread and include a short caption if you wish.

Start out with these 2

Great pics Wildlifer!

Unfortunately I had a terrible season and have few if any pics to show for it. Can count on one hand the number of birds I killed. I even struck out on guided hunts this year where we typically do pretty well. Only real highlight of my season was killing my first tundra swan on the annual hunt with my Delta Waterfowl chapter.

I'm partial to my pup. He made some really good retrieves this season. Some notable ones include breaking ice on the black duck in three degrees, finding a few ducks that had tucked themselves up in some grass in the swamp, and about a 350 yarder on a crippled Canada.

Slow and season for me as well. A buddy took this picture of my 11 month old puppy. He did great on what we were able to shoot this season.

I loved them all, thanks foe sharing, what county did you take the gadwall, black ducks and wigeon? hopefully that is broad enough so as to not qualify as cyber scouting.

Youth day hunt with my 16 year old. Finally had a few birds to work with and he shot very well. All drakes to boot! One of the funnest hunts I've had in the last few years

Beyond blessed to have the opportunity to hunt and fish God's creatures. Not the best migration I've seen but was able to pull a few down. Glad my ole dog can still get a few for me

Definetly the best Boykin I've hunted with! Lost my lab in January and Gadwall was nice enough to let me use him
