Thanks. I played with a few different combos before I decided on a build. I was going to put iron sights on it but with a imp cyl choke it shoots a slug really well also. With different chokes it shoots everything from #9s to buck shot very well. I did a lot of research before I cut the barrel to 20" an threaded it for chokes. It is back bored also.

Here is my 870 12g. It came originally in Realtree. I added a mossy oak (couldn't find realtree) thumbhole stock and pump handle and a Mueller Quickshot red dot sight. Doesn't kick too bad with 3.5" #5's, but I wouldn't want to shoot them more than a few times in a day, haha. I have a Tru-glo gobble stopper choke installed - .665, I think.

That ol 870 Express looks like a gladiator. LOL

That gun has killed more turkeys than you can shake a stick at. It's my brother's gun he won for the biggest deer that year in Columbus Co one year back in the early 80s. It's a 2-3/4" chambered gun that shoots straight and doesn't mind getting dragged around the turkey woods. I borrow it often when I go out west so I don't have to bring my own...

That's a cool little backstory. I love the fact it's shooting 2 3/4 " loads.
