Topsail Inlet

Anyone every go out from Topsail Inlet? If so, are there any issues or pointers. Going down to Surf City in a few weeks for family vacation and plan on taking the boat. Definitely going to do some inshore and New River fishing, but thought about going nearshore if the weather is ok.

New Topsail Inlet is at the south end of the island and was pretty good last year. New River Inlet is to the north of the island. It was dredged last year and has had new channel markets put in place. Have not gone out of it this year. Yet. It was decent.
