My 6 yr old little boy and I hit the woods yesterday. No response to owl hoot. Set up in a clearing to listen, and a tom fired off about 200 yds away. I called only very softly twice to be sure he knew we were there. He gobbled for 20 minutes, hit the ground, came in on a string, and my little buddy got to experience/witness his first turkey harvest.
