Speaking of big crappie

Check in personnel at Randleman Reservoir says a 4lb 1 ouncer was caught there yesterday.

That's a nice one. That lake is full of them for sure but that is a slab right there.

I have caught some on a Ned rig that were big in randleman but not that big.

Maybe someone here knows the lucky angler and has a pic, I do not.

Now you know you can't go making those kind of claims without some photo evidence...

i really tried to drum up the crappie boys back when that lake was new. for some reason they all just had to go to jordan.

it was unbelievably easy for a few years but apparently crappie guys do not like to wait in lines like idiot bass fishermen.
saw very few crappie guys for the first few years.

I believe it to be true. I am a Taxidermist and took in a 4 pound 1 ounce crappie yesterday from Randelman Lake. Will share photo when finished. And this was a Black Crappie.
