Eddy that is called having bottom. I had rather had one that did not want to quit till it was ready, than to have one that wanted to quit before I was ready. One thing to remember about a foxwalker is they are bred to do one thing and that is to run and stay after it as long as they can. A foxwalker is not going to quit within a few hours they are just getting going good. I have several that when you turn them out first thing in the morning they are not going to quit till later that afternoon, and if they are running time does not mean a thing to them. Some of them are sun up to sun down type hounds. A man told me a long time ago you have to be smarter than the dog to train it. Then again some are just to plain aggraivating to mess with.
boomer, we can try the ecollar on him and it may do some good. If I knew we were going to use it on Eddy, I would have bought the trash breaker instead of the classic 70. Last edited by JFerrell; 02-15-2010 at 10:01 PM. |

Trashbreaker would have been a better choice

boomer, I found a tri tronics that is designed for horses. Now that may put out enough current to make Eddy to what he is suppose to do. Then again he may be to far gone to be trained. We may just have to run a "Free To Good Home" ad. Heck if he is house broke they may look over all the other faults and take him in.

I did not know he was house broke. I need to call his dad to see if he is house broke. He maybe good for cleaning dog pens, cutting fire wood and weeding a flower garden ,or anything else along those lines.
