    opening day SC march 20
    20 yd shot
    rem 870 dhsten's handloaded TSS. very DRT.
    spurs were 1 1/8th and 1 1/4, nice curved hook on the longer one
    11 1/2 inch beard, nice one when it dried out. Look kinda thin wet.

    he was a very heavy bird but also very wet

    Two Texas Rios called up with special glass call the forum's "Tarheel Turkey" (Jason Terry, Tobacco Row Custom Calls) made for me to commemorate my Dad with his last gobbler before he passed a couple years ago.
    Shot both with Rem 1100 20 gauge loaded with Fed HW #7s.
