Now that we all got some rain any body got some pics.....
Here is one of mine from the dog club in Scotland county
oats, crimson clover, ryegrass, and winterpeas
Harnett county farm foodplot
Crimson clover was planted earlier in the center with soybeans on the far right
Oats , winterpeas and oats , crimson clover in between just starting to come up
The plot I planted here at home on 9/5 is finally up and growing great after recent rains. Oats daikon radish durana and ladino white clover with some purple tops in the mix as well. It almost looks like it was drilled. A little grass but not bad.
My plot I planted last year looks really thin I think it had a lot of water on it, we cut it and put out some fertilizer so hopefully it will thicken up some.
Got started late with another small plot, it was just starting to sprout last Saturday. I'll take pics next trip.
Some good looking plots guys. All of that rain really helped with germination and early growth.
Ours was very dry for the first 2 weeks after planting, but then we had a big rain that dumped a few inches, followed by the hurricane 2 weeks after that.
