Sometimes stuff like this weather coming in can shock them and make them drop early.

It depends on the age, condition/health/nutrition levels and when the testosterone level drops. It can be from early December through late March. The best way to tell when your deer are shedding is to run a few cameras year round where the bucks are using. That will give you a good general idea after a few season when they drop them and how quickly they start to regrow them.
