I'd look at commercial deer feeders like found down in TX if I were serious about feeding and just starting out.
Dozen or so companies in TX that make feeders, stands and other equip/accessories of a higher quality than you will find at big retail stores pushing low price point products.
Google will pull many up.
PS: some of them will make runs up this way if they have other orders to deliver and can piggyback.
Ive been just using a few moltrie spin feeders with 5gal buckets or a trashcan and have had no issues. Granted in 5 years we've only seen one bear so that makes feeder selection easier.
55 gallon drums with boss buck Bands and funnels and Moultrie spin heads for corn and the boss buck gravity head for protein. They work great and the spin feeders last about 7 weeks on 12 seconds twice a day. About $150 to build.
