Would you eat a CWD infected deer?

Probably already have unknowingly I've eaten Neb deer on many occasions and they had it for years maybe that would explain my mentality:)

I thought it was settled science that CWD is a prion disease. Wheat and other plants are capable of storing the proteins indefinitely. You probably get more contamination eating wheat from a field that has CWD positive deer grazing it than eating meat from an infected deer. (Provided you avoid the spine, spleen and brain.
